Moscow Gridlocked in Record 10-Point Traffic Jams Due to Snowfall

Traffic jams in Moscow amid snowfall have reached a record 10 points, as rated by Yandex.Maps.

Sections highlighted in burgundy include the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD), the Boulevard and Garden Rings in the city center, the South-Eastern Chord to the region (in Kuryanovo), and the North-Eastern Highway in the Metrogorodok area.
Conditions are extremely difficult on the Enthusiasts Highway, Nosovikhinskoye, Kashirskoye, Novorizhskoye, Leningradskoye, and Yaroslavskoye highways. The Moscow Department of Transport reported that skidding trucks caused congestion at intersections of the MKAD and Enthusiasts Highway. The snowfall continues unabated.
