Temporary closures are in place in central Moscow. This was reported by Moscow«s Department of Transport. It is all happening amid bad weather and the arrival of the Syrian president for talks with Vladimir Putin.

Currently, a section of Tverskaya Street (near building 9) is temporarily closed for traffic heading towards the center. Motorists are advised to detour around the closures via the Boulevard Ring and Garden Ring.

The reasons for the closures are not stated. Today, Syrian President Ahmed Sharaa arrived in Moscow. However, the press service of the Russian president reported that talks with Vladimir Putin are already underway, and his Syrian counterpart is in the Kremlin. Meanwhile, the closed section is located very close to the Moscow city government building.

At the same time, traffic jams in Moscow are currently rated at 9 points. The most difficult situation is currently on the Garden Ring, sections of the Third Ring Road (TTK) and the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD).
