More convenient and profitable: Yaroslavl Region launches transport pass system

A system of transport passes has been launched in four cities of Yaroslavl Region. Plastic cards will be issued for free to residents of Pereslavl-Zalessky, Rostov Veliky, and Uglich. In Danilov, «Yakarta» will be provided.

«For passengers who use public transport daily, it is more convenient and profitable to pay for travel with a transport pass,» said the State Institution «Transport Organizer of Yaroslavl Region.»

It is stated that the cost of a monthly transport pass in these four cities will be 1,700 rubles (about $17 at current rates). It can be replenished in various ways, including through a special portal.

Free plastic cards can be obtained at the following addresses:

• Ticket office in Pereslavl-Zalessky, Moskovskaya St., 113.

• Ticket office in Rostov Veliky, Dostoevskogo St., 1.

• Ticket office in Danilov, Privokzalnaya St., 10 (instead of transport passes, «Yakarta» can be obtained here).

• Ticket office in Uglich, Olgi Berggolts St., 15a.

Previously, the transport pass system operated in Yaroslavl and Rybinsk. In October 2025, authorities announced its introduction in four cities of the region, specifying that a 50% discount will be available for schoolchildren.
