Minibus with 'VOR' plates parks on Chelyabinsk sidewalk again despite fine
A minibus was spotted parked on a sidewalk in central Chelyabinsk less than a month after its driver was fined for the same violation.

A minibus with license plates «V 516 OR» was parked on the sidewalk at the entrance to the Arbitration Court of the Chelyabinsk Region. Two weeks ago, the driver of this vehicle was punished for parking on the sidewalk near a neighboring building. But, apparently, the warning conversation and the fine had no effect on him. The traffic police (GAI) have gotten involved again.
This time the vehicle was parked near a courthouse.

A reader of 74.RU photographed the Ford Transit with the interesting license plate near the courthouse on Thursday, 29 January 2026. In mid-January, the same minibus was spotted near a neighboring building on Vorovskogo Street, which houses, among others, the Department of Architectural and Urban Planning Design and a number of other state and commercial structures.
«Again, the same car that you wrote about earlier. Apparently, the preventive conversation and the fine didn»t help,« concluded the photo»s author.
We sent the information to the traffic police, who promised to find and punish the offender. Previously, the 51-year-old driver was issued a fine.
Rudely parked cars with conspicuous license plates are regularly noticed in Chelyabinsk. Last December, the driver of the region«s children»s rights ombudswoman Yevgenia Mayorova was caught violating the rules; he was called to the traffic police for explanations and fined 1,000 rubles (about $11 at current rates).
