MCD-4 Passengers Complain of Mass Train Cancellations, Citing 40-Minute Delays

Passengers of MCD-4 (Moscow Central Diameter 4) complained about mass cancellations of commuter trains on the afternoon of February 3. According to a MSK1.RU reader, trains towards Moscow are now running only every 40 minutes.

‘I couldn«t leave from Olgino, had to switch to a bus to the metro. Trains at 13:40, 13:46, and 13:53 were canceled on the board,’ he reported.

Passengers in the diameter chat report that unscheduled cancellations started a bit earlier — around 12:30.

‘I wonder what will happen in the evening around six o«clock?’ asks MCD-4 passenger Nikita.

‘Being 40 minutes late for work is unpleasant,’ complains Ekaterina in the diameter chat.

The press service of the Moscow Railway told MSK1.RU that railway workers are now bringing traffic back on schedule. Trains may be delayed due to severe frost.

‘Against the backdrop of persistent frosts, railway workers together with the carrier company are making maximum efforts to stabilize the traffic schedule in Mosuzle. Currently, on radial directions from terminal stations, trains are departing and operating with minor deviations from the schedule, while the inter-train interval in movement is maintained,’ the press service of the Moscow Railway told us.

On the morning of February 3, passengers of MCD-3 (Moscow Central Diameter 3) complained about mass delays of commuter trains. Trains had to be waited for more than an hour, and the trains arrived overcrowded. The reason for the delays was called abnormal frosts for Moscow.

Also, at the MCC (Moscow Central Circle) «Nizhegorodskaya» station on January 30, the platform collapsed.
