Major Seven-Car Accident on M-4 Don Highway
On the morning of January 27 at 09:40, three accidents occurred at the 1029th kilometer of the M-4 Don highway near Rostov. They were reported by the press service of the regional traffic police.
In total, seven vehicles were involved in the accidents. Among them was a scheduled bus.
«The causes of the accidents were improper distance selection and speed inappropriate for road conditions. As a result, the vehicles sustained mechanical damage, with no injuries reported,» clarified the traffic police.
Due to the accident a six-kilometer traffic jam formed. However, the State Traffic Inspectorate clarifies that the consequences have been cleared, and traffic is back to «normal operation».
The previous evening near Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, a ten-kilometer traffic jam grew. It arose due to a burning truck.
