Bus No. 44 of the municipal «Irkutskavtotrans» (Irkutsk Municipal Transport) slid into a ditch due to poor road conditions in the Slavy microdistrict on the outskirts of Irkutsk on the morning of January 28. City Duma deputy Tatiana Marchenko captured the incident and shared a photo in the Irkutsk mayor«s Telegram chat.

“The route bus was pulled into a ditch. Please fill in the roads in the microdistrict and the area near the stop,” she wrote in the message.

The press service of the Irkutsk administration commented on the incident to IrCity. It turned out that the bus was traveling without passengers at that time.

“The bus slid into a ditch while turning. There were no passengers in the cabin, and no one was injured. A tow truck is currently on site pulling it out of the ditch. After that, the vehicle will return to the line,” the mayor«s office said.
