The regional road from Tyumen towards Irbit may be expanded to four lanes. According to the publication «Business Quarter» citing the regional government, the approximate cost for widening nearly 30 kilometers of the road is 4.9 billion rubles (about $49 million at current rates).

However, this cost for widening the Irbit tract is based on 2018 prices and may be adjusted. Construction timelines have not been announced — the government has repeatedly stated that work will begin after a funding source is identified.

It should be noted that a terrible accident occurred on this road. In a mass crash, several people were killed, including children.
