Collision on Tram Tracks in Ulyanovsk's Zasviyazhsky District

On January 27, around 10:40, on Moskovskoye Highway in the Zasviyazhsky District of Ulyanovsk, a car and a minibus collided, according to the Ulyanovsk Municipal Electric Transport Enterprise (MUP «Ulyanovsk Electrotran»). The accident occurred on tram tracks near the clothing market. As a result, electric transport traffic is blocked. Trams on route No. 5 are temporarily running to Pushkarevskoye Circle. Passengers are asked to account for the altered traffic scheme.

Recall that over the next three years, Ulyanovsk«s public transport is set for a major modernization. The plan includes the purchase of 29 new trams and 60 buses, as well as road and stop repairs.
