Bus Route 52 in Nizhny Novgorod to Alter Path

The bus route extension aims to maintain service on streets affected by temporary tram line closures.
Starting tomorrow, the route of bus line No. 52 in Nizhny Novgorod is being partially changed. As reported by the Center for Transport Systems Development, vehicles will now run along Admiral Makarov and Dargomyzhsky streets.
This route was introduced as a compensatory measure after the temporary cancellation of tram lines No. 3 and No. 21 due to rail track repairs in the Leninsky District. Buses run from Gorky Square to the «Proletarskaya» metro station stop. On the new sections of the route, appropriate stop signs have already been installed, and snow clearance is being carried out.
Simultaneously, the possibility of organizing three new bus routes in 2027 that will connect Nizhny Novgorod with Kstovo (near Nizhny Novgorod) is being considered. Their launch will be possible provided that the necessary funding is allocated.
In addition, at the end of last year, 82 new buses were purchased for city transport. After completing all formalities, the vehicles have started operating on the routes.
