The state-owned company «Avtodor» has appealed to drivers with recommendations due to worsening weather conditions on expressways in the coming days.
Snowfalls are expected in the south of Rostov Oblast and the north of Krasnodar Krai. Simultaneously, in Nizhny Novgorod, Sverdlovsk oblasts, Tatarstan, Chuvashia, Bashkortostan, and Perm Krai, frosts of up to -30 to -33°C (-22 to -27°F) are forecast at night.

We recommend paying special attention to the technical condition of your vehicle before the trip, having a supply of warm clothing, as well as a sufficient supply of fuel in the tank. On the road, be sure to maintain an increased distance from the vehicle ahead, avoid sudden braking and dangerous maneuvers. If possible, postpone trips in bad weather.
In Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, the temperature background will be 9-14 degrees below normal. According to meteorologists« forecasts, the cold spell will last until January 27.
