Accident causes traffic delays on Kaluga Highway in Tula

In Tula, on the afternoon of February 3, traffic is severely hampered on Kaluga Highway due to an accident that occurred near a Metro store. This was reported by eyewitnesses on social media.
A traffic map indicates severe congestion extending from the Orlovsky overpass to the accident location.
According to a published photo, the accident happened on the lane exiting the city. Two cars collided, likely during an overtaking maneuver.
The extent of the damage is unknown. There is also no information on casualties from the accident.
The accident occurred around 3:20 PM. Currently, a red or dark red traffic jam stretches from the Orlovsky overpass to the accident site. Traffic towards the city on Kaluga Highway is also hampered.
It is currently unknown how quickly the congestion at this location will clear. In addition to the accident on Kaluga Highway, several other accidents occurred on Riazanskaya Street, before the entrance to the Orlovsky overpass.
Very soon, rush hour will begin in the city, which is expected to only worsen the traffic situation.
