According to Yandex Maps, on February 3, a massive traffic jam up to 40 kilometers long formed on the M-4 Don federal highway.
The congestion is observed on the section from Platov towards Kamensk-Shakhtinsky.
Members of the «M-4 Don» chat recommend that drivers use alternative routes to reach Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, such as via Novocherkassk.
Traffic difficulties on this route began on February 2 after a heavy snowfall, when trucks got stuck on an uncleared road and could not climb the incline.
