Young roofers detained on roof of St. Petersburg building
Four young people who climbed onto the roof of a residential complex in the Moskovsky district of St. Petersburg were detained by officers of the Rosgvardiya (the Russian National Guard). They were found with cameras and a crowbar.

On 26 January, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Rosgvardiya for St. Petersburg and the region reported the detention of a group of roofers. The young people had penetrated the roof of a residential building in the Moskovsky district of the city and were taken to a police station, where they spent the night.
The incident occurred around two o«clock in the morning on Galsyan Street. The concierge of the residential complex, while monitoring surveillance cameras, noticed that unknown persons had broken the lock on the door leading to the roof and activated the alarm system.
Two patrols of the Rosgvardiya arrived at the scene and detained four people aged 18 to 21. They confiscated filming equipment and a crowbar. All detainees were taken to a police station, and the damage caused by their actions is currently being assessed.
