Yekaterinburg Woman Finds Forgotten Toddler Outside Kindergarten

The found girl is about one and a half years old and cannot yet speak.
In the Akademichesky district of Yekaterinburg, a local woman found a little girl on the street. The child was sitting alone near the house at 81 Akademika Sakharova Street, with no adults nearby.
Around the toddler«s neck was a kerchief worn by pupils of a private kindergarten located in that building.
“They forgot to pick up the child from the walk. I was shaking all over in that moment. Fortunately, the toddler was calm and didn’t cry,” Natalia said. “I took her by the hand, and we quietly went to that kindergarten. They opened the door for me with the words, ‘Oh my God,’ snatched the child from me abruptly, and closed the door; I didn’t even have time to say anything.”
According to the woman, when she brought the child, the other children had already undressed and entered the group, and the girl«s disappearance had not been noticed by the staff.
Natalia reported the incident to the media to help find the parents and expressed concerns that the kindergarten management would try to hide the incident from the family.
The private kindergarten on Sakharova Street commented on the situation: “All our children are in place, they all went into the group. Perhaps at that moment, we were just coming in from the street.”
Earlier in Yekaterinburg, a similar case was recorded: a three-year-old pupil left the kindergarten grounds on her own after a conflict with a teacher.
