The tourists from Yekaterinburg who went missing in Egypt, Nikita Talanov and Vladislav Revenko, have returned to Russia. The young men are currently in Moscow. This was reported to E1.RU by the mother of one of them, Tatyana.

“They are in Moscow now. The guys have a flight to Yekaterinburg tonight. Well, that means they will be home on February 1,” explained Nikita«s mother.

Recall that the young men went missing on January 26. They were supposed to board the return flight to Russia, but did not show up at the airport. As Tatyana explained, the guys could not return home because they were detained after a fight with locals in Cairo.

“As Nikita briefly wrote to me, he and his friend went for a walk in Cairo in the evening. There, locals attacked them. They beat them up a bit and took their money. Then, apparently, the police intervened, and in the end, they were detained. That«s all,” the woman explained.

As Vladislav«s father Pavel told, after being released from police, the guys were taken to the airport, and they bought their own tickets to return home.

“They were supposed to be taken to the consulate or embassy, but they were brought directly to the airport. They bought tickets with their own money and flew to Istanbul (from there, the nearest flight can quickly take them to Russia). From there, they already flew to Russia. Vlad says that he doesn«t understand why they were detained, and no charges were brought,” the man reported.

Earlier, another emergency occurred: an Azur Air airline plane sent a distress signal in the sky over Vietnam. Fortunately, everything turned out fine. As the airline reported, the plane successfully made an unscheduled landing.
