Yekaterinburg delivery drivers spammed, cars converge on city hall

On the evening of 21 January, a mass spam attack targeted the Yandex Delivery service in Yekaterinburg. Dozens of delivery drivers arrived at the Passage building for fake orders. This was reported to E1.RU by one of the service«s employees.
«All drivers are converging on one spot. Orders have been flying in here for two hours already,» shared our reader.
Our interviewee added that the spam orders were being sent to cargo taxi drivers.
«We are looking into the situation and will be ready to provide an answer following the inspection,» a Yandex representative commented.
It is still unknown who carried out the attack and what its purpose was.
Previously, we reported on a microcredit company in Sverdlovsk Oblast that launched a spam attack against its client. The unscrupulous organization was fined for making too many calls.
We also reported on another microfinance organization whose employees spammed a debtor with 156 calls. Additionally, in the Urals, another persistent bank harassed a client with endless calls and also received a hefty fine.
