Yakutia Prosecutor Orders Fire Safety Inspections of Kindergartens

A kindergarten in the Ust-Aldan district burned down on the night of February 4.
Prosecutor of Yakutia Sergey Dyabkin ordered fire safety inspections at all preschool institutions in the republic. The prosecutor«s office began in the Ust-Aldan district, where a kindergarten in the village of Tanda burned down last night. This was reported on February 4 by the press service of the regional prosecutor»s office.
«During the inspection, an assessment will be made of the causes and conditions of the fire, compliance with fire safety legislation. The prosecutor»s office is monitoring the provision of preschool education rights for 26 children who attended the kindergarten,« the statement said.
As a result of the fire, one of the three kindergarten buildings was completely destroyed. At the time of the fire, no one was inside, and no casualties were reported. For now, children will attend classes in an adjacent building of the kindergarten. Investigators from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Yakutia and an emergency commission led by First Deputy Prime Minister of Yakutia Dmitry Sadovnikov are working at the scene.
