A pregnant woman from Yakutia gave birth on the floor in the hall of the admission department of the Perinatal Center of Republican Hospital No. 1 on January 28. The baby was diagnosed with a linear fracture of the right parietal bone and is in intensive care. This was reported on January 28 by the Ministry of Health of Yakutia.

The woman arrived at the hospital on her own at 10:33, and she was already in the pushing stage (the final stage before the baby emerges. — Ed.). A minute later, at 10:34, she gave birth.

“Currently, the child«s life is not in danger. Round-the-clock monitoring of his condition has been organized. The Ministry of Health is keeping track of the health of both the woman and the newborn. An official investigation will be conducted immediately to establish all the circumstances of the incident. Based on its results, necessary measures will be taken,” the statement said.

The woman wrote about what happened herself in the Mom Life app. According to her, the registration desk staff did not respond and demanded documents for processing.

“While my husband was getting the documents, standing and massaging, I went into labor. I was screaming, shouting that the head was already out, I took off my tights, and at that moment the child flew out of me onto the floor, after which they started moving,” wrote the user Marrrssll.

In the comments, the woman said that a few days before the birth, she had already come to the Perinatal Center with false labor pains. On January 28, her real contractions started at 07:00, and she gave birth three and a half hours later.
