In Starozhilovsky District, a worker died while replacing a malfunctioning waste-loading winch. The tragedy occurred at approximately 17:52 on January 23, according to the labor inspection of Ryazan Region.
The man died after falling from a ladder that was placed on an unsecured lid of a waste incinerator.
An investigation into the accident has been initiated at the workplace.
‘Currently, the employer has organized a commission to investigate the accident, chaired by a representative of the State Labor Inspectorate,’ said Zoya Mirokhina, head of the State Labor Inspectorate in Ryazan Region.
The circumstances and cause of the tragedy are being determined.
