Worker crushed by bricks dies at Vinzili plant
A fatal accident occurred at the Vinzili expanded clay gravel plant (Vinzilinsky zavod keramzitovogo graviya). According to a source, a worker was killed.
The source said: «The young man was in his early 30s, and he has already been buried. According to my information, the Tyumen resident was crushed by a stack of bricks. Judging by the cameras, he violated safety regulations.»
The Investigative Committee confirmed the worker«s death and reported that a criminal case has been opened.
«A case has been opened under Article 216 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation regarding the death of a worker at the Vinzili expanded clay gravel plant,» the agency stated.
Article 216 of the Russian Criminal Code provides for punishment for violating safety rules during construction or other work, including forced labor or a fine.
