In Novosibirsk, repairs to the utilities in the pit at the Gorsky residential area continue. This was reported by Ekaterina, a resident of a building near the sinkhole. According to her, cold water is available in the apartments.
«They continue to strengthen the soil. Work until late at night,» the resident said.
Residents of the building have no hot water due to a scheduled shutdown. The work area is fenced off with a metal fence.
A defect in the networks in Gorsky was discovered on July 12. Then the ground collapsed near the buildings, and water was cut off to local residents for several hours. Over the course of a day, the pit grew, and on July 14, cold water supply had to be restricted on the left bank. It was restored on July 15.
