A fire occurred in the private sector of the city of Asbest, resulting in a death. According to local residents, the homeowner, an elderly woman, was locked inside the burning house.
According to information received by the editorial office of E1.RU, the fire started in one of the private houses in the 101st block. A reader of the publication noted: «The worst thing is that someone seems to be locked inside. The elderly woman was using heaters.»
According to data from the Telegram channel «Na Rayone,» the victim was carried out of the building and resuscitation attempts were made, but she could not be saved. As neighbors told, at the time of the incident, the woman was alone, and her husband was at work. Presumably, there were heating problems in the house, and the residents used heaters, which could have caused the fire.
The Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) for Sverdlovsk Oblast confirmed the woman«s death, but did not name the official cause of the fire. According to rescuers, the fire damaged the roof, ceiling, walls, interior finishing, and household belongings.
