A woman suffered fatal injuries after being run over by a train at the Bilyutuy station (near the village of Bilituy) in the Zabaikalsky District on the Zabaykalskaya Railway. This was reported on 20 January in the Telegram channel of the East Siberian Transport Prosecutor«s Office.
According to preliminary data, the incident occurred today — the woman was fatally injured by the rolling stock of a freight train. The circumstances of the incident are being established by the Daur Transport Prosecutor«s Office.
«With the aim of coordinating the activities of law enforcement agencies, Daur Transport Prosecutor Dorzhi Zhamsoev went to the scene of the incident,» the report said, adding that the transport prosecutor«s office is conducting a check on compliance with legislation on the safety of railway transport.
According to the Telegram channel of the Eastern Interregional Transport Investigation Department of the Russian Investigative Committee, the woman was injured while climbing over the railway tracks under a train that had started moving. The Zabaikalsky Transport Investigation Department of the Eastern Interregional Transport Investigation Department of the Russian Investigative Committee is conducting a procedural check for signs of a crime under Article 263 of the Russian Criminal Code (violation of safety rules for the operation of railway transport).
