Woman injured in accident near Volgograd administration

At the intersection of Lenin Avenue and the street of the same name in Volgograd, a road traffic accident occurred, resulting in a woman being injured. The accident happened in close proximity to the entrance of the Volgograd Regional Administration building.

According to preliminary data, at 12:30, the driver of a Hyundai Solaris, moving along Lenin Avenue near building No. 7, failed to maintain a safe distance and collided with a Mitsubishi Outlander crossover driving ahead. A female passenger in the Hyundai sustained injuries and was taken to a medical facility for assistance.

The incident occurred at a pedestrian crossing. In photos from the accident scene taken by traffic police officers, it is visible that the Hyundai Solaris sustained serious damage to the front. The Mitsubishi Outlander shows no visible significant deformations.

This is not the first incident on this section. In autumn 2024, a Hyundai Sonata and an electric bicycle with two delivery service couriers collided here.
