Woman faces surgery after serious fall on Novosibirsk sidewalk
After the fall, bystanders helped the injured woman by carrying her to an ambulance for medical attention.
On the evening of January 26, in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Novosibirsk, a woman fell on the sidewalk. The victim told NGS that as a result of the incident, she suffered serious injuries.
‘I have multiple tibia fractures, a closed fracture of both ankles, and a subluxation of the foot. Now I«m waiting for surgery,’ shared the Novosibirsk resident.
Recovery is expected to take about two months. After treatment, the woman intends to file a pre-trial claim against those responsible for cleaning the area.
Also, the victim is currently looking for passersby who assisted her.
An NGS correspondent sent a request to the Novosibirsk mayor«s office to get a comment on this incident.
Earlier, Novosibirsk residents identified places with uncleaned sidewalks. The administration of the Central District responded to the complaints.
