Around midnight on February 2 in Yaroslavl, an accident occurred with two trucks on Kostromskoye Highway near a railway crossing. Witnesses said that due to the accident, a traffic jam formed, and two cars ended up in the ditch.
The accident led to a significant traffic jam on Kostromskoye Highway in Yaroslavl.

«Before the crossing, a truck started braking and jackknifed, hitting a Gazelle van from behind. Two cars drove into the ditch while avoiding the truck,» said a reader of 76.RU.
At the time of the accident, Evgeny Silin, a member of the Yaroslavl communities «AvtoDrug» and «SpasAvto4x4», was on the scene. He helped pull foreign cars out of the ditch.
«A Volkswagen Polo was avoiding a collision with trucks by moving to the shoulder at the moment of the accident. And a white Nissan Qashqai also went into the ditch. We got stuck in the traffic jam, I drove out to see what was happening. I have a prepared off-road vehicle. I look: cars are lying in the ditch with their hazard lights on. I think, I need to help,» said Evgeny Silin.
Evgeny managed to pull the cars out of the ditch. According to him, there were no casualties. Soon, the roadway cleared.
«We dispersed. The truck also moved. Traffic appeared at least,» said Evgeny Silin.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs department for Yaroslavl Region also said that no information about casualties in the accident had been received.
