Wife and Son of Drone Attack Victim in Hospital
Neighbors said the man saved his wife and child at the cost of his own life.
The wife of the man killed in the strike on Leventsovka is in a hospital, the Rostov administration reported. Later she and her son will temporarily move to a flexible housing fund — their apartment was destroyed.

«During the attack, the head of the family died. The wife is undergoing treatment in the hospital, while her four-year-old son is waiting for his mom with his grandmother. The city administration allocated a new two-room apartment in the flexible housing fund for the family for the duration of the restoration of the house in Leventsovka,» officials said.
In the apartment where the family will live for some time, heating, electricity and gas have been connected. Furniture is being installed. The chairman of the Rostov City Duma, Lidiya Novoseltseva, promised that Alexandra and her son will not be left alone.
Drones attacked the Leventsovsky microdistrict on the night of 14 January. In the morning, the regional governor reported that during debris removal, the body of a man was discovered in one of the apartments. He turned out to be Sergey Govorkov, a member of the Rostov Federation of Kyokushin Karate. Neighbors said that the man saved his family at the cost of his own life. His wife and son managed to hide in the hallway. The woman suffered burns; the child miraculously did not get hurt.
The entrance of the high-rise building that was hit by the drone is seriously damaged. Initially, authorities said it could collapse. But later experts determined that it can be preserved. Residents cannot return yet.
