Warehouse Fire Spreads in Volgograd's Tulaka Area

Eyewitnesses report a large fire in the Tulaka microdistrict of the Sovetsky District. According to them, the fire has been raging for at least an hour and, having started in one of the warehouses, managed to spread to the roof of another.

Footage sent by readers of V1.RU shows that the fire has grown intense. The flames burn brightly, and the black pillars of smoke must be visible from afar. Witnesses report that fire services are on the scene, with a significant number of vehicles gathered.
— My God… Tulaka, — an eyewitness exclaims. — What a smoke show… And the business burned down, you know? It intensified: it«s spreading from roof to roof. Firefighters have a tough job: they»re standing right on the edge, in the snow.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire engulfed building 1, unit 5a on 25 Let Oktyabrya Street. Here, based on data from Yandex Maps, there are warehouses for plumbing, electrical goods, roofing materials, welding equipment, and others. The exact location of the ignition is still unknown.
The editorial staff of V1.RU is clarifying details of the incident with the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) for the Volgograd Region: what time the fire started and what caused the ignition. The editorial staff is also checking with the regional health department whether there are any casualties and their condition. Later, EMERCOM commented on the situation:
— On January 27, 2026, at 20:22, a report of a fire at the address: Volgograd, 25-letiya Oktyabrya Street, was received by the operational duty shift of the Central Control Center of the Main Directorate of EMERCOM for the Volgograd Region. Upon the arrival of the first fire and rescue unit, it was established that at the Tulaka construction base, the wall cladding and warehouse products were burning. No information about fatalities or injuries has been received. Further information is being clarified.
