Voronezh sirens sound after 36-minute drone threat delay

Alert sirens sounded in Voronezh on Tuesday, 27 January, at 06:51 — this happened 36 minutes after a drone attack threat was announced throughout the region. The warning systems operated for three minutes. According to Governor Alexander Gusev, the capital of the Black Earth region is under immediate threat of a drone strike.
— Go indoors, move away from windows. If you see a drone — immediately leave its line of sight and call 112, — the head of the region wrote in his official channels.
On the night of 23 January, in Voronezh Oblast, sirens were activated and a drone strike threat was declared in two municipalities. Afterwards, authorities reported the destruction of drones and that when debris from one of them fell, the roof of a residential house caught fire — a family of three was evacuated. On 20 January, sirens in Voronezh Oblast sounded due to a missile threat. Ukrainian missiles threatened the region even a few hours before the New Year, on 31 December 2025.
Update. At 07:10, the drone strike threat in Voronezh was canceled, however, the danger of attacks throughout the region remains. There is no information yet on the destruction of drones.
