Voronezh Region Drone Threat Active for Over Nine Hours

The drone attack threat in Voronezh region was lifted on 22 January at 06:08, Governor Alexander Gusev reported. As Voronezh1.ru wrote earlier, it had been declared at 20:37 the previous day — meaning the air defense forces were on high alert for over 9.5 hours.
According to the Defense Ministry«s morning summary, the past night in Voronezh region passed quietly despite the announced threat. From 20:00 on 21 January to 07:00 on the 22nd, 31 Ukrainian drones were destroyed over Russian territory (17 of them before 23:00), with Voronezh not listed among targeted areas. The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked Volgograd, Rostov, Bryansk, and Belgorod regions, Crimea, Krasnodar Krai, and the waters of the Black and Azov Seas. The largest number of drones eliminated over this 15-hour period were over Krasnodar Krai and the Azov Sea — nine and six respectively. In Krasnodar Krai, a drone strike caused fuel storage tanks to ignite, resulting in fatalities.
