Volgograd man dies in car, body dropped from stretcher

In the evening, at the «Coliseum» residential complex in the Kirovsky district of Volgograd on Sanatornaya Street, ambulances, police, and emergency services gathered. According to residents, the driver felt unwell at the wheel, pulled over to the side, but was already dead by the time medics arrived.
The scene where the stretcher was dropped on the street is visible in circulated videos.
News of the tragedy quickly spread through local chats. Residents posted footage showing a crowd gathering and emergency service vehicles.
In discussions, various versions of what happened arose:
- «What happened, does anyone know?»
- «Looks like a traffic accident.»
- «The person at the wheel felt unwell.»
- «We were driving by. The car skidded onto the curb, the doors jammed.»
An eyewitness who watched from a house window told the publication V1.RU that after the emergency services, a funeral company arrived at the scene.
According to the witness, events unfolded as follows:
«The man felt unwell at the wheel, there was no accident, he simply pulled over. Emergency services broke into the car. For some reason, the ambulance didn»t take the person away but stood by. Everyone was going back and forth. In the end, a morgue vehicle arrived. The stretcher was dropped on the ground along with the person in the middle of the street. They fussed for a long time, pulling the stretcher out from under him. After that, they took a photo of the corpse on the ground. And only then did they slowly load it into the morgue vehicle. The ambulance and morgue vehicle left around 17:30.«
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS) for the Volgograd region did not comment on the situation, redirecting the inquiry to the police. The regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) reported that while driving, the man felt unwell, stopped the car, and died inside the vehicle.
