Video shows street flooded after pipe burst near Ufa hospital
A pipe burst in the center of Ufa — it occurred on the grounds of the republican hospital. On social media, residents are posting footage of water spreading through the streets and report that drivers are choosing to detour around the affected area.
As reported by the Civil Protection Directorate, the leak happened on a pipe with a diameter of 250 mm. Specialists from «Ufavodokanal» have arrived at the scene and will be handling the aftermath.
As written by Ufa residents in the Telegram channel Ufa_rb, Novokustarnaya Street was also flooded; it is located next to the Republican Clinical Hospital (RKB).
It was also reported that Mingazheva Street was flooded — the street adjoins the hospital, leading drivers to allegedly turn around to avoid driving through water.
UPDATE: The accident has been fixed.
Recall that in 2023, a pipe similarly burst in a parking lot near Salavat Yulaev Avenue. At that time, water and sewage poured directly onto cars, several vehicles were flooded, and many required dry cleaning or repairs. Three dozen car owners recovered millions of rubles (equivalent to tens of thousands of dollars at current rates) from «Ufavodokanal».
