Video shows fire trucks at Omsk shopping center blaze

Today, January 27, at 10:35 a.m., a fire occurred at the Park shopping center on Maslennikova Street. Footage of rescue vehicles at the building was published on the Telegram channel «Emergency Omsk».

As reported by the regional EMERCOM, the flame broke out in the electrical room on the second floor of the complex. The fire area was 20 square meters. It was quickly extinguished — open fire was eliminated 13 minutes after the call to emergency services.

150 people evacuated from the building on their own even before the rescuers arrived.

‘From the Russian EMERCOM, 24 personnel and 7 units of equipment were involved,’ added the department.

Several days ago, an apartment caught fire on the seventh floor of a building at Vzlyotnaya Street 13/1. Four people were hospitalized. One of them — a woman — sustained 85% body burns and later died. The others were sent for outpatient treatment.
