Video captures car spin in Yaroslavl bridge crash
The collision resulted in the closure of several traffic lanes on the bridge, according to photographic evidence.
Video has emerged of the moment of the accident on Oktyabrsky Bridge, which on the afternoon of January 31 in Yaroslavl caused a traffic jam to form.
A video shared on social media captures the instant of the multi-vehicle accident on the bridge.
In the footage published on social media, it is visible that first, cars collided while moving towards the Zavolzhsky district. From the impact, a passenger car was spun around, and one of the vehicles came to a stop across the lanes of oncoming traffic. After that, a collision occurred in the lanes moving towards the city center.
Police reported that they are establishing the circumstances of the accident.
“Around 4:05 p.m. on Oktyabrsky Bridge, cars — a Ford, a Renault, a VAZ, and a Haval — collided. At the moment, there is no information about casualties,” clarified the Yaroslavl Regional Police Department.
