Victims of Kuzminki fire suffer severe burns

The Omsk Ministry of Health told NGS55.RU about the condition of victims in a major fire that occurred this morning in the Kuzminki microdistrict. Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS) reported two injured residents, then four. According to the Ministry of Health, the number later increased to five people. Moreover, one of the victims has serious burns.
«One person was released after examination, three were hospitalized with signs of carbon monoxide poisoning. One of the victims has burns on 85% of their body and is in intensive care,» explained the Ministry of Health.
The fire on the 7th floor of a 19-story residential building occurred today around 7 a.m. Thirty-five rescuers on nine vehicles responded to the scene. The fire was extinguished in about an hour. As a result, the apartment where it occurred burned out completely. The fire nearly spread across the plastic facade of the building.
