Urals Tourists Missing in Egypt Describe Handcuff and Blindfold Ordeal

The tourists from Yekaterinburg vanished after a trip to the pyramids in Egypt.
It became known what happened in Egypt to the mysteriously missing tourists from Yekaterinburg. Nikita Talanov and Vladislav Revenko were searched for by relatives after the guys didn«t board their flight and stopped communicating. Embassy staff found the young men in an isolation cell.
The day before, the friends finally returned home. E1.RU managed to contact one of them. Vlad explained why they were detained during their vacation.
«We were sent to isolation for entering the building»s entrance and going up to the roof. It was open. Because according to local laws, you can«t enter entrances. At least if you»re not a local,« said Vladislav. »There was surveillance, a camera pointed at the entrance. It spotted us.«
According to Vladislav, they and Nikita were not allowed to contact relatives and embassy representatives. At the police department, they were assured that staff would do it themselves. But no one informed the guys« families about their detention.
«We sat in isolation for three days. There was a separate room for foreigners. The conditions, to put it mildly, were terrible, because you sit in handcuffs all the time, they never take them off. And with a blindfold on. Depending on the guard, you could lift it a bit,» says Vladislav.
Earlier, Nikita«s mother suggested that the guys might have been detained due to their graffiti hobby.
