Unlicensed Young Driver Crashes Into Horses on Omsk Road
The collision occurred at night when horses suddenly appeared on the highway, leading to a fatal rollover.
A fatal traffic accident occurred in the Tavrichesky District of Omsk Region, killing two young people. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the regional prosecutor«s office.
According to preliminary data, an 18-year-old driver of a Lada Priora, who did not have a driver«s license, was driving on the road from Omsk to Russkaya Polyana from the direction of Pavlogradka. At the 67th kilometer, he hit two horses. Regional police clarified that the animals suddenly ran onto the road. After the collision, the car flew into a ditch and overturned.
As a result of the accident, the driver and his 18-year-old passenger died at the scene before medics arrived. Two other passengers — aged 19 and 16 — with serious injuries were taken to intensive care. The animals also died.
