A little girl on the road was hit by a driver in a Ford in Balashikha, Moscow region, an eyewitness reported to MSK1.RU. The unconscious child was taken to the hospital. The accident occurred on the evening of January 27 on Zhukovsky Avenue opposite the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh in the Kuchino district.

According to eyewitnesses, the girl might have been sledding on a sled down snowbanks left along the road after clearing the roadway. The footage shows that traffic police officers and several ambulances arrived at the scene.

«The child was transferred under oxygen, unconscious, from one ambulance to another, then taken away. The girl is unconscious,» an eyewitness told MSK1.RU.
As clarified by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Moscow Region, the girl was sledding not on a sled, but on a sled. Her parents were crossing the roadway with the child during a walk when she was hit by a car. According to police, the victim is only five years old.

The day before in Krasnogorsk, an 11-year-old boy died while riding an inner tube. During the descent, he unexpectedly rolled out onto the roadway from around a turn and was run over by a car.
