On January 22, a 53-year-old man was injured in a fire in Barysh, Ulyanovsk region, according to the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS). Preliminary reports indicate that a garage caught fire at one of the houses on Gorky Street. The fire completely destroyed a car. The owner tried to extinguish the fire himself but failed and was hospitalized with burns. The fire was extinguished by three units of special equipment and ten rescuers. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
Recall that on January 20, a person died in a fire in the village of Staroye Pogorelovo, Veshkaymsky district. The fire occurred in a private residential house. By the time firefighters arrived, the building was already burning with open flame. Three vehicles and nine emergency ministry employees were deployed to extinguish it. Among the debris, the body of a man was found. Details of the tragedy are being clarified.
