Two trucks and car collide near Ryazan, one driver injured

A triple collision involving two trucks and a passenger car occurred on the Caspian highway in the Ryazan region. The drivers involved were all from different regions of Russia.

In the Mikhaylovsky district at the 227th kilometer of the R-22 «Caspian» highway, a triple traffic accident occurred involving two trucks and a passenger car. The accident happened at around 13:50 on January 29, according to the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ryazan region.

Other drivers involved in the highway crash were reportedly unharmed.

According to preliminary information, the driver of a GAZon truck collided with a Renault car and then crashed into a Scania truck traveling in the same direction.

All participants in the accident were from other regions:

the driver of the GAZon — a 20-year-old resident of the Volgograd region;

  • the driver of the Renault — a 48-year-old resident of the Saratov region;

  • the driver of the Scania — a 49-year-old resident of the Vologda region.

    As a result of the accident, the driver of the GAZon sustained injuries and was taken to a medical facility.

    The circumstances of the accident are being clarified.
