Two men beaten in Novosibirsk park, one aged 76
Two men were beaten in Bugrinskaya Roshcha park in Novosibirsk. A video from security cameras was published in the group «AST-54» on the social network VKontakte.
The incident occurred at 8:30 PM on Friday, July 17. According to a relative of the victims, unknown people attacked two of her relatives, one of whom is a 76-year-old pensioner. There were three attackers.
The footage shows a man in a blue T-shirt being hit in the face several times and then kicked. Judging by the recording, a child was standing a few meters from the fight scene.
«Without figuring things out, they attacked, beat, tore my husband’s T-shirt and silver chain. The cross is missing,» the post’s author wrote.
The head of the Bugrinskaya Roshcha park department, Alexander Goldman, told NGS that he also learned about the incident from the publication.
«The law enforcement authorities have not contacted us,» he said.
NGS contacted the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Novosibirsk Region for comment. The police said they had launched an investigation.
