Two Die in House Fire in Russia's Urals
Two people burned alive in a private house in Kamensk-Uralsky. The fire was noticed yesterday around 9 p.m. on Gogol Street. The bodies of a man and a woman, approximately born in 1980, were found during the clearing of the rubble.
«On an area of 80 square meters, the roof of a private residential house burned down. There are fatalities. In extinguishing the fire, 4 pieces of equipment and 15 personnel were involved. At 22:16, open burning was eliminated, and the watering down and dismantling of burned structures were completed at 00:00,» reported the Sverdlovsk Region Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM).
Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee worked at the scene. The bodies were sent for examination. The exact cause of the couple«s death—whether they died from the fire or if the death is of a criminal nature—will be established after investigative measures are conducted.
