Two cars collide in Voronezh region, injuring driver

In Voronezh region, a driver was injured after a collision of two cars. This was reported by the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The accident occurred on Monday, January 26, around 16:40 near house No. 1 on Solnechnaya Street in the village of Voznesenovka, Liski District. According to preliminary information, the 33-year-old driver of a Chery A12, while making a U-turn, failed to yield to an oncoming Lada Kalina and collided with it. At the wheel of the car was a 29-year-old man.
The driver of the Kalina was injured — he was taken to the hospital with injuries.
On Monday, 117 traffic accidents occurred in the region. Of these, 88 were in Voronezh, 24 in the districts of the region, 5 on federal highways. In three accidents, three people were injured. Fortunately, there were no fatalities.
