In the city of Lysva today, February 3, around 11:40, two city route buses collided. Six people were injured, including a child.

Six people, including both drivers and passengers, required medical attention following the head-on collision.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Sushina and Traktornaya streets, said Lysva head Alexander Permyakov. In photos he published, it is visible that two GAZelle Next buses collided head-on.
According to preliminary information from the regional police, a 65-year-old driver of one of the buses lost control. Moving along Sushina Street towards Traktornaya, the GAZelle Next crashed into the second GAZelle Next on the oncoming lane.
«As a result of the accident, six people were injured, including one child born in 2013 and both bus drivers,» commented the mayor on his page on VKontakte. «All injured were taken to the city hospital, where they are receiving assistance.»
At the scene, traffic police inspectors and investigators from the Investigative Committee (SK) are working. The Investigative Committee of Perm Krai has already opened a criminal case under the article «Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements for the life or health of citizens.» The progress of the investigation is monitored by the Lysva Prosecutor«s Office.
