Two Black Lada Granta Cars Collide in Orenburg

A traffic accident was recorded in the Orenburg region. This time, according to the press service of the regional police department, it happened in the regional capital on Brothers Korostelyov Avenue opposite house No. 52—at an unregulated intersection with Rosa Luxemburg Street.

According to preliminary information, closer to midday—at 12:10 p.m., the driver of a black Lada Granta, traveling from Stanichny Lane towards Sibirsky Lane, while turning left, failed to ensure the way was clear and collided with an identical car coming straight towards him.

The accident did not occur without injuries: medics took a 68-year-old passenger from one of the Granta cars to the hospital from the scene. A sizable traffic jam formed near the bridge. An investigation is underway: police are determining who will be held responsible for the accident and whether everything happened exactly as per the preliminary report.
