On the morning of January 28, the road situation on highways near Nizhny Novgorod is difficult. Heavy snowfall continued all night and is still ongoing. Motorists from Bor and the Kstovsky District who commute to work in Nizhny Novgorod report several accidents.

Two more accidents occurred in the area of the Bor dam towards Nizhny Novgorod, according to eyewitnesses. From their accounts, one accident happened at the fork with Tolokontsevo, the other on the dam itself. Official information on the circumstances of the incidents is not yet available.

Meanwhile, the regional center remains plagued by 10-point traffic jams. A huge jam stretches along Udmurtskaya Street, Novikova-Priboya Street, and the Molitovsky Bridge from Kuzbasskaya to Larin; on Gagarin Avenue from Shaposhnikov Street to Lyadov Square; on two kilometers of Rodionov Street approaching Sennaya Square.
