A truck driver was injured in the Voronezh region after his vehicle overturned, the regional police department reported.
The accident occurred on Tuesday, 3 February, at about 15:15 on the 30th kilometer of the Kursk — Borisoglebsk — Gribanovsky — Posevkino highway in the Gribanovsky district. According to preliminary information, a 40-year-old resident of the Nizhny Novgorod region driving a Shakman truck lost control, after which the truck overturned and crashed into a guardrail.
The truck driver sustained injuries — he was taken to a hospital.
Voronezh1.ru tracked how heavy snowfall affected the accident rate in the region. On Sunday, 25 January, there were 98 accidents in the region, but a week later, on 1 February, the number nearly doubled to 178 accidents.
