In Irkutsk on February 3, a truck and a municipal bus No. 28 collided. A reader told IrCity about the accident, and the press service of the Irkutsk State Traffic Inspectorate confirmed the information.
The accident occurred on Traktovaya Street near the Uzlovaya stop, heading towards the city center. The impact shattered the bus windows. According to the traffic police, one person was injured: a public transport passenger suffered a hand injury.
Preliminarily, the truck driver is believed to be at fault.
IrCity’s editorial office contacted the director of MUP Irkutskavtotrans, which operates municipal routes, for a comment on the bus«s condition but had not received a response by the time of publication.
