Truck catches fire on bridge in Yaroslavl
On the morning of January 30, a truck caught fire near Jubilee Bridge in Yaroslavl. Eyewitnesses reported the incident on social media.
According to video from the scene, the road on the bridge was heavily smoked due to the fire. The truck itself was completely engulfed in flames.
As reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS), the fire was extinguished by two units of equipment and nine personnel.
«At 07:40 on January 30, a report was received about a MAZ truck catching fire at the address: Yaroslavl, M-8 highway, near Jubilee Bridge. The fire was extinguished at 08:58», clarified the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for Yaroslavl Region.
In the fire, the cargo truck«s body with goods burned. According to rescuers, no one was injured.
Recall that it was previously reported that in Yaroslavl, a court will consider a case about a traffic accident in the city center where a 21-year-old passenger died. The accident occurred on the night of December 13, 2025. The moment of collision was captured on city cameras. The recording shows how a «Priora» at speed crashes into a «Granta». The latter is spun around on the road from the impact.
